The course comprises of lectures, interactive group and individual workshops, case studies, role-play exercises, giving touches of real time scenarios. Course Methodology
IRCA There is a balance between knowledge-based presentation, discussions, exercises and case studies. About two third of the time is spent on activity based learning. A mock examination paper will be discussed throughout the course to help students to be familiar with the style of the examination.
Pre-Requisites
IRCA recommends that students are expected to have the following prior knowledge:
- a) Knowledge of the following Quality Management Principles and concepts: the Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) Cycle; the relationship between QMS and customer satisfaction; commonly used quality management terms and definitions and the 8 Quality Principles as given in ISO 9000; the process approach used in quality management; the model of a Process Based QMS, the structure and content of ISO 9001.
- b) Knowledge of the requirements of ISO
